Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2018

Location / Hong Kong International Airport

As an international brand, Hong Kong International Airport is also responsible for spreading the characteristics of Hong Kong of being a mix of Chinese and Western cultures. Therefore, the airport celebrates different Chinese and Western festivals every year.

Co-organized by Tobe Concepts, there was a series of celebration for the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2018. With the inspiration from a legend, Chang E flying to the moon, a stage with an arbor and a laurel tree with lanterns on it, was built. Professional dancers were invited to perform traditional Chinese style plays on the stage regularly. Except the dancing, traditional lantern artists were also there for workshops instructing passengers to make and design personal lanterns. During the period, our staff randomly distributed lanterns to wish them a happy festival. Every corner in the airport was full of festive atmosphere.
